Introduction |
|
Dr.
Naresh Singla is working at Centre for Economic Studies,
Central University of Punjab since September, 2012.
He obtained his Ph.D. (Economics) in the faculty of
Economics and Business from Guru Nanak Dev University,
Amritsar and M.Sc. (Agricultural Economics) from Punjab
Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He qualified the
NET in 2005. During his working as Research Fellow in
P.A.U., he worked on indebtedness in Punjab agriculture
and livestock-crop production sustainability systems.
He also worked at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad
and handled two research projects namely: risk and diversification
in Gujarat agriculture; and fresh food retail chains
and their impact on primary producers and local retailers
in India. He also published one book entitled, “Fresh
Food Retail Chains in India: Organisation and Impacts”
(jointly with Prof. Sukhpal Singh). While working with
National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Anand, he worked
in the field of livestock sector in India. Besides,
he also worked at National Research Centre for Agricultural
Economics and Policy Research (NCAP), New Delhi in the
National Agricultural Innovation Project. |
