1. B.A. (Hons) Political Science (2002) from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. Marks: 61%- First Division.

 

2. M.A. Politics (specialization in International Relations) (2004) from School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. FGPA= 7.00- First Division.

 

3. M.Phil in Japanese Studies (2006) with the title of the Dissertation “Impact of the 1990s Economic Recession on Japanese Management Practices”. Japanese Studies Division, Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. FGPA= 6.50- Lower First Division

 

4. PhD awarded in 2011 in Japanese Studies from Japanese Studies Division, Centre for East Asian Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Title of the thesis: Japanese Development Assistance to India: Role of Japan International Cooperation Agency, 1991-2006.

 

 

Current Status

 

Assistant Professor in South and Central Asian Studies, School of Global Relations from 6 Sep 2012 to present.


 

Past Experience

 

1. Taught International Relations to the students of BSc Banking and Finance and BSc Economics in Indian School of Business and Finance (ISBF), Delhi in the capacity of an Assistant Professor from August 2007-July 2008. Academic directions received from University of London’s LSE.

 

2. Taught Political Science to B.A. (Pass) students in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (University of Delhi) in 2006-2007 through the School of Open Learning (University of Delhi) Program.


 

Academic Achievements

 

1. Awarded Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Scholarship for Doctoral Studies in 2008-2010 for a period of two years in the subject category of International Studies. Funded by Teen Murti House, New Delhi.

 

2. Offered Japan Foundation fellowship for a period of three months starting August 2008. Funded by the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund as a part of the Japan -East Asia Network of Exchange of Students and Youth (JENESYS) Programme.

 

3. Cleared National Eligibility Test (N.E.T) thrice in December 2003, 2004 and June 2005 conducted by University Grants Commission (U.G.C) in International & Area Studies.
