Academic Block comprises of air-conditioned class rooms with modern multimedia projectors and remote-controlled retractable screens, Research Laboratories (including Molecular Genetics Laboratory, Plant and animal cell culture laboratories and cold room storage facility), Central Instrumentation Facility, Central Library, Computer Centre and Museum. Facility for large-size document printing (for research posters etc.) is available in Computer Centre. V-Cradle Planetary scanning and Newspaper scanning facilities have already been installed in the Central Library. Academic Block also houses an air-conditioned seminar hall having a capacity of 100 chairs.
