In November 2009 the City Campus of the University came into existence. Spread over an area of 35 acres, this Campus of the University provides an ideal, secure, peaceful, pollution free and ambient setting for academic pursuits. The University has spent almost 30 million rupees on the renovation of this State Government building acquired on lease. Located just 5 kms from the heart of the city on the Bathinda - Mansa road, this Campus has separate Administrative and Academic blocks, and residential area. The whole campus has a green environment friendly look. The university has attained quality infrastructure facilities like independent water supply and 24 hours electricity supply. Further, the University has also prepared well-furnished science laboratories, seminar hall, library, computer lab, faculty room, research laboratories, and all other infrastructures. At transit Faculty Hostel semi-furnished accommodation is available to faculty and staff. For students, hostel is being located within the well protected walled campus. Its open grounds are under development for sports activities. From this Campus, the University would be running its academic and other programmes and imparting training to the students till its main campus spread over an area of 500 acres is ready to move in.
